5.2 Special Meeting

a) The Committee may, whenever it thinks fit, convene a Special Meeting.

b) Any Member of the Club may request a Special Meeting.

c) Special Meeting may be held after any show but not at an outside venue. If a Special meeting is requested it must wait for a home show or Special Request date.

d) A request by a Member for a Special Meeting:

i. may be presented in writing or verbally to any Committee Member

ii. Member must state reason for meeting. The Member making the request must sign a written request. A Member making a verbal request must personally attend the Special Meeting.

e) Special Meeting must have a Quorum of Committee present, requesting Member (mandatory if verbal request made) and any invited Members.

5.3 Notice of General Meetings

a) The Secretary shall, at least one (1) month before the date fixed for the holding of the General Meeting, place an announcement in the Club's Magazine (Twitches).

b) No business other than specified in the notice convening a General Meeting shall be transacted at the meeting.

c) A Member desiring to bring any business before a General Meeting must give notice in writing to the Secretary, who shall include that business in the next notice calling a General Meeting after the receipt of the notice from the Member.

5.4 Voting and Decisions

a) Any questions arising at a meeting of the Committee shall be determined by a majority of votes of the attending Committee Members.

b) Any questions arising at a Special or General Meeting shall be determined by a majority of votes of the attending Committee Members and/or Members.

c) Each Committee Member attending a Committee meeting (including the person presiding), is entitled to one (1) vote per Committee position held, but in the event of an equality of votes on any question, the person presiding may exercise a second or casting vote.

d) Each Member attending a Special or General meeting (including the person presiding) is entitled to one (1) vote, but in the event of an equality of votes on any question, the person presiding may exercise a second or casting vote.
