Sydney Small Animal Rescue

Is a non-profit organisation of trained volunteers who specialise in the rescue of rodents and small animals.

The NSW Fancy Rat & Mouse Club began a rescue service for rats and mice in 1996 called "Rodent Rescue" This service has since been upgraded, and subsequently renamed "Sydney Small Animal Rescue". We now provide rescue services for rats, mice and ferrets.

Our aim is to provide a loving, nurturing environment, medical treatment, and physical or behavioural rehabilitation if required for unwanted, abandoned, mistreated, and homeless small animals until such time that they can be placed into permanent caring homes.

If you know of an animal in need, or are interested in adopting a small pet, please contact our co-ordinators:

Phone Sydney 9681 7719 or email us at

CAGES, FOOD & ACCESSORIES

URGENTLY REQUIRED!

Sydney Small Animal Rescue is always in need of cages, food, bedding, water bottles/dishes etc: with which to house and care for our growing number of rescue animals…

If you have any unwanted rat, mouse, ferret or bird cages, small aviaries, small runs and/or accessories that you would like to donate, or perhaps know of a supplier who could help by donating some food (grain mixes, cereals, fruit and vegies, day old bread etc) or bedding (straw, hay, shavings, shredded paper, litter etc) for these special animals, then please contact us by Email

rescue@nswfrmc.org

Cash donations are also very welcome and help offset veterinary and medication costs for those poor animals we sometimes rescue that are in need of special care.

Thank you in advance… and please remember that every little bit helps!!!
